The People of the Book, Geraldine Brooks’ richly imagined novel that takes readers on an intellectual adventure from Spain to Sarajevo, from the Silver Age of Venice to the sunburned rock faces of Australia, will kick-off the series on Wednesday, September 29.
“Books Over Coffee” is held in the Stratford Library’s Lovell Room beginning at noon each month and is hosted by Stratford educator and author Kathleen Faggella. Participants are invited to bring a bag lunch; coffee and tea are also served. Copies of all books and plays are currently available for loan at the library’s Circulation Desk. The discussion programs are free and open to the public.
